The story goes that when the twins were growing up, Skye was Iain's voice. His twin had been born mute, his vocal chords somehow damaged, but Skye himself had no defect to speak of and such, spoke, and spoke very loudly, for his brother's sake. When Jenna was born things were starting to look bad for the Sun family. The twins were separated and Jenna was shuttled back and forth between the two homes until finally given to their father's care. They left for England and Skye rarely, if ever, saw his siblings. Skye's powers came rather suddenly, and very recently. The day before his father and siblings return to Hong Kong was the first time Skye has ever made a shadow move, and he's kept silent about it. He doesn't want to speak up about it to anyone, including Iain, until he knows what he's doing. |
Skye is indifferent, and even rather hostile, to anyone in his family that is not Iain. He views Jenna as the cause of all fault in their family and as such, has never gotten along with her. Now at eighteen years of age, he doesn't consciously believe so anymore, but old habits are hard to break and the two have never gotten along. He's quick to anger and something of a loudmouth in person. |
His mother likes to laugh and say Skye's typical face is his "angry face." Which really only makes him even more frustrated looking, and only makes her laugh more. Skye's hair is short with a bit of a natural flip to it, even when it's falling in his face. |
